I never was a huge hash fan, but now harvest is comin' and I want to make some.. I have tried wrapping my powder in cellophane and newspaper, heating it rolling the shit out of it with a rolling pin, and it came out okay...

But recently I've heard that heating your kiff to make hash isn't good for the trichs, and that I should use a pollen press.. but then I've heard that some people heat the pollen press to help the process?

I decided just to buy a pollen press and check it out anyway, since doing it other ways seemed to be much more work... I have some in right now, and we will see... but I'm still anxious to know.

Does using a press (rather than using heat assisted methods) increase or affect the potency or flavour of your hash? will heat damage the quality of the hash? Other methods?

The best method is bubble hash man, other than that, use heat but not more than like 250 F

A little heat wont hurt, but its better to let the lighter\jointcherry\vaporizer do that later, a press without heat shoudl do the trick!

bubble bags... research them. They make superior hash. I wouldn't heat the keif, it may affect the potency.

sweet, I used my new press last night and it came out a nice solid rock.. I myself, like the nice gummy blonde stuff, can I use the press and still come out with nice gummy hash? I have heard of using alocohol or water drops to help the process along, but I won't be stuffin any impurities into my stuff..
