Default Oil and butter

I've heard some things about oil? I've made cakes 2 times now with butter, but what's oil? Is it something like butter too?

yes its the same thing you just simmer the weed in the oil for about an hour to get all the thc out of it. it works the same way as butter

Do you take the weed out of the oil afterwards?
And if the oil takes an hour, butter is more efficient, right? Some of the THC is damped away from it if you take an hour for it.
