It would appear that I hit the jackpot on the free bulb deal. I ended up with 6 shatterproof Sylvania MH 400w bulbs. While I dont have an online form for free samples, I DO find myself with 6 bulbs that I really do not need.
SO.........I am going to give them away to someone, or several someones who really need them. IDEALLY, the recipient should be a medical user, who is on limited resources, or someone growing for the aforementioned.
You can submit your request via PM, or if any Moderators want to help me decide who gets them that would be awesome, since I'm new to the boards and really don't know who is who. My one requirement is that you request a bulb, or however many you need, for someone OTHER THAN YOURSELF! I do not know anyone who uses for medicinal, But I woke up this morning thinking that this just seems like the right thing to do.

Yeah, I have 4 MH fixtures. I really don't need the bulbs, but have been blessed that I can afford them when I do need them. This site has been an awesome resource for me, this is my little way of giving back.

I fully understand the nature of this site, and the activities that none of us are involved in, but why ya gotta shit in someones wheaties for doing a good thing? There are those out there who want/need these bulbs that I don't need, so this is how i choose to get them "off my shelf". And from the amount of people who have requested them, i'll have some left to swap, or whatever.
I don't see how this is shady. It's a freakin' bulb. Not like it's something else. One either needs or doesn't need one. No dif to me.
