I am a noob to growing.

I have had a few deaths and just started again this week.

I wondered if there are any noobs out there that have germinated this week that fancy a growing comp.

Winner is whoever plant makes it to the end.

Lol i got one 2 days old. growing ok but it was taking the piss (5 days till it popped)
and mine is gonnna make it all the way for defo

A challenge .. Great stuff..... I have germed 5 but one popped out os soil last night (afghan), which will be used in the comp.

I keep mothering mine too much so you will probably win .. hehehe

Any more challengers .??? .. your seed can be either just germinated or within one week of sprouting ...

I will add a photo when i come home from work .... better be more posts by the time i get back ...

Oh yeah.. If you add pics add a label to your pot with RUI virgins .... lol

Yo what light you useing i use CFl and yh lol i keep a good look at it but not not dark time for the plant
mine is 2 days old real small atm so no worries um ill get the pics on here at a week coz i lost my phone and i got to use my cam

Iam germinating right now, my first evr grow!
germinating 12 seeds 10x bigbud and 2x knights templar.
been germinating for about 10 hours so far, i have everything set up for the off.

Mine is Afghan just sprouting through the compost after three days of germintaion.

I'll post pics when theres visible true leaves too in about a week also.

Great stuff the more the merrier, Big Bud are huge seeds ... kept warm they can sprout in around 24 hours.
What is your lighting?

Ill join, I had a few pop out a few days ago.

I use cfls but lol my Veg will kick ass but flowering your mh might be a little better as ive got,
2 x 85w big Cfls (5200) lumens each 1 x 30w little Cfl (2000) lumens
3 x F tubes (20-30w)equal to about (6000) lumens
so i got about a total 18,400 lumens
Where as you have got a Mh and a 400w one has about 32000 lumens

Yeah but i never mentioned ... i think my last batch died from heat stress (+wrong compost), oh and messing too much hehehe. I will swap to HPS in flower, but only 250w.



Just to set the rules, are we allowed to add lights along the way because i was thinking of adding a few cfl's to bottoms of plants (if not topping/ fimmin not decided yet) when in flower, but i can hold off if this is not allowed, whatya fink?

You want around 68 watt fo tubes cheap as fuck 8 bucks two of these will grow ok buds but if you put them on the sides it help make the plant taller and buds bigger
But lol im all Cfls none of mine die lol Cfls Rock
