How about a scavenger hunt... only to extend it out over a week or longer you could post a new item to find once a day. At the close of the contest everyone who's competing posts picture(s) of all the items they found.

You could judge for originality of the item.... and to prevent people from just surfing the net for pics you could require the pictures have a newspaper or something else in the shot verifying the date.

Probably best if people didn't put up pictures until the end... kind of like playing poker... keeping their finds to themselves until the end when everyone shows what they found. We've got some wacky people around here.. I can only imagine the stuff people would come up with.... and FDD... I'm sure you could think up some good challenging stuff for us to scavenge.

I dunno... maybe that's a stupid idea... just thought I'd toss it out there

So here's what ya do. Post a scaled pic of a harvest and invite contestants to guesstimate the total grams, ounces, or whatever the total merits. OK.
So ten folks hit the number, they're in round 2 (or the closest X continue on) Change harvest pic and repeat until your have your X amount of winners, then allot the prizes by order or closeness to the actual total, or hold a single bud weight sudden death type thing?
I dunno if there's a way to post the inaccessible answer during the competition, but that might be helpful to the skeptics.
