Hi guys.
I have never made any bho or hash and just brought in my first crop, the stuff isnt super crystaly but dense and the buds felt like they where dipped in honey, super sticky and dense, so im assuming they are full of oil?
Anyway, since ive never done this ive been reading and speaking to others.
The guy who has kinda helped me grow says to put an ounce into one 750 ml of everclear and leave it for a month? He was vague about what to do after that, i dont thin he knows.

I was leaning towards bubble hash but after reading everyone loving the bho now im confused.

Can anyone post a link or video or smoke signal for idiots so i am not so overwhelmed with so many methods, my A.D.D. is off the charts,,,,,,,,,,,time to smoke some scissor hash.

Thanks everyone.

well if you leave it in the everclear, strain it, then evaporate the everclear off you will pretty much have BHO. but i suggest bubble hash myself.

if you are worried about time, and smell I would just go with one of the quick wash methods
QWISO-would be the fastest. Normally only mixing for 20-30 seconds

you should decide what type of extract you want first then we can help you with what you need
I wouldn't use that^^

Bubble is definitely great, its all about what your preference is

also how much material do you plan on extracting??

You can make qwet with that everclear but only do a quick wash... Like a minute or 2 Or do a whole lot more research & run BHO. Bubble hash is great but only if you have a fuckload of trims laying around. Learning to make concentrates with your trim or even nugs adds a whole other aspect to growing & allows you to have something to vape on while waiting for your harvested bud to cure up & actually lengthens the life of your stash. Keep reading this section- lots of good info if you take the time it find it

I think i need to medicate then figure something out.
Im thinking about making my own out of copper tubing. i just wonder if the fluid would leach out any of the copper.

This was in that BHO link I posted Form Skunkpharmresearch

Columns may be made from any number of different materials, but not all are suitable for butane service. http://www.coleparmer.com/Chemical-Resistance is an excellent site to check material compatibility with the various solvents. You do however have to read between the lines, and for medical use, stick with those materials listed as excellent.

Using those guidelines, a quick check reveals that Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Low Density Poly Ethylene (LDPE), for instance, are not suitable, even though listed as good to fair, because the butane leaches out the constitutes, so they will end up in the meds.
They list copper as fair, not because the butane attacks it, but because of sulfur compounds and water that may be present in the butane, which form sulfuric acid attacks the copper. Dry low sulfur butane doesn’t present the same issues, but copper columns have to be kept meticulously clean of oxides, as for instance, welding copper without adequate respiratory protection, produces a medical condition known as fume fever. If you do not have the time or inclination to keep the extraction column pristine, glass or stainless is a better choice.

The absolutely cheapest stainless column that I’ve found is one made from a stainless turkey baster from Bed,Bath, and Beyond for $7.99. Throw away the bulb and pull the press fitted needle out of the threaded adaptor, and you are good to go.

Is that you on youtube too?
I watched that , pretty cool, i just dont do anything halfway so i always make huge portions of everything basically because im lazy and would rather do it once.
Ive got lots of good stuff to use. I really want to know where i can buy huge drums of butane. like 30 pounders.
Thanks again

I used 91% isopropyl alcohol and got great yield. Black green sticky globs-put into little empty plastic bottles with snap lids used for paint for artists. Boiling it has to be done outdoors or extremely well ventilated area. Very heavy smell but goes quickly.

Ok so after lots more research ive decided to make the Simpson oil.
It seems easier and i really think i could use it.
Im not worried about getting stoned so much as i am looking for the health benefit, although i think you can vape it.

Thank you all so much for your help.
