    the thinner your extract the better it will purge. i spread my oil thin as the butane evaps in a hot water bath(150 degree or something like that), pop bubbles. let it sit for 30min, and collect.

    Yes, it will purge without vacuum in a thin film at low heat over time. We use <140F for carboxylic acid oil, and 250F for decarboxylated oil.
