Co2 Supercitical Fluid Extraction questions

Like many nerdy stoners, I was completely enamored by the idea of Co2 extractions. While I understand some basic details such as the pressures needed to be sustained and the temperature reached, I sort of feel lost past that. There is basically nothing about doing it on a small scale on the internet, other than some grainy, hard to understand videos.

Anyone have any experience with this? Can anyone point me towards a tek? Possibly a pressure vessel build?

Thanks!bongsmilie

Sorry, still working on that. While it is relatively easy to build or repurpose a vessel capable of super critical pressures and temperatures, starting at
31°C/88F and 73 atm/1073psi, it appears that the pristine extractions are being done between 5500 and 10Ksi, with a fair amount of CO2 exchange rate. An extract must be both of high quality at an affordable price to meet our goal, so I put my own simple minded CO2 SCFE plans on hold, until I better understand what it takes to produce something that competes favorably with quality BHO and QWET.

We are moving forward with them this year, but the process grows more complicated, with a separate vessel to build and supply SCFE C02, so that material in the extraction vessel isn't exposed to the full curve of pressures and temperatures as they build.
