    Default Trim->Dry Ice Hash->Cannabutter

    I'd like to know your opinions on the feasibility of this:
    1) Make Dry Ice Hash from fresh frozen popcorn trim.
    2) After shaking, toss the remains in a crock pot with some butter, using a liberal plant-to-butter ratio.
    Will the trich removal in step 1 make the result of step 2 pointless?
    It just seems wasteful if there were any "juice" left in the material.
    Thanks!

    Theres no point in even dry ice sifting if your just going to throw the plant material back in after you have sifted it? if im reading that correctly.

    I just made the bombest cannabutter recently , used 1lbs of dry leave and popcorn trim, dry sifted it in a 190 micron bubble bag with dry ice. Then we just proceded to make cannabutter with the dry ice kief. it came out very potent!

    Yours does sound clean and potent, but I was wondering if I could save the kief off, then just make butter out of the dry ice bag leftovers. Double-dipping I guess. I suppose the butter might suck then, I was just tossing it out there to see if anyone had ever done it successfully.
    Thanks!

    Dry ice is ok, but definitely doesn't get close to a good, moisture free, terp filled water extract! Get a set bags and don't look back.

    ya the butter would probably be hella week, and it would taste alot like plant matter.

    This is what im thinking of trying after I do a run. There will not be nearly as much thc/ cbd obviously but I think there will still be other cannabinoids in the leftovers that you could get into butter.

    There are a lot of leftovers from dry ice. Dry ice just takes off the cream of the crop, as long as you stop before it goes green.

    I take my dry ice leftovers and run them through either butane or iso and use the results for tinctures or edibles.
