question about rick simpson oil

A good family friend got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. its stage 4 and he isnt expected to see christmas. I want to badly make him some oil but all I have is sativa buds and not indica. Will oil made from a sativa still work ok until i can get some indica buds?

either will work...I follow his method with a couple of exceptions...I use 99% ISO and I chop then freeze my buds at least 24 hrs before I process it...the Iso is also put in the freezer...good luck and thoughts to your friend!!!

I use a similar method to mojogangaman, but I prefer ethanol. Freezing and filtering is a great way to pull out needless waxes.

Thanks for the replies. Ill keep everyone posted to how it goes. Ill be using naptha. Mojo do you dry the buds before freezing? Any methods anyone has that helps would be greatly appreciated

If you are really serious about curing him I'd spring the extra buck for organic grain alcohol vs regular iso. Some say iso has toxic drying agents in it. I however could not find anything online speaking of these toxic drying agents.

yep...this fall my buddy and I are gonna go with fruit alcohol...the ISO has to be handled properly to get it all out...btw...our last batch was tested by a doctor at a lab...28%THC...rockin' buzz...but I eat it for medical purposes...hth

I hope you have access to POUNDS of high quality weed. Rick Simpson oil is definitely effective, but it requires rather large doses ingested orally. I do believe in the power of cannabis oil....it's single handedly kept me in remission from my debilitating Ulcerative Coltitis.
