they are actually solidified bubbles, and i filter through 2 coffee filters and its a quick wash so it doesn't pull any chlorophyl out. here's a few more pics , fully cured finished product is on the upside down can bottom.

could be the page before, sorry bout that. the bubbles are just from heating it up on the bottom, and air is trying to pass through the oil. as it cools, they solidify. good stuff ey, makes for good pics, people get blown away by this stuff, need i remind, i made this from shake from my outdoor plant last month.

Extracting oil/resin from pure buds with shellite ... some people have asked so here it is
pull the buds apart...
place jar in a container with near boiling water for approx 2 minutes
let it bubble away for that 2 minutes, then transfer unfiltered mix to a bottle
This is where you filter it into your pyrex dish to evaporate with a fan
this is the stage where i get the hair dryer out
within minutes......then scrape it out onto the underside of a can purge the rest of the chemical out by heating with a small candle underneath, CAREFUL NOT TO BURN!! repeatedly cool in the fridge or freezer, and repeat purging/curing the final product
now you can play with it like a little boy. BUT BE CAREFUL NOT TO SMEAR IT ANYWHERE BUT ON YOUR BOWL!!! YOUR MRS WILL NOT BE HAPPY IF SHE GETS HER SOCK STUCK ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR WITH A GLOOP OF STICKY RESIN. I LEARNT... have fun all and enjoy, and be safe!! NO FLAMES NEAR CHEMICALS OF THIS NATURE! and be sure to purge all remaining shellite before consuming. it will have a magical taste when you have purged correctly, if not it will still smell chemically, keep going
Someone gave me a .5 gram pill full of "dragon tears" which is the name for this type of extract made of shellite? Supposedly it is very potent. I passed it on tho so don't know how it hit.
why pass it on? i doubt it was made from shellite though. that is an australia distillate.
You are probably right he said Naptha tho. I passed it on b/c I don't consume cannabis resins doused in petro products. Precautionary principle in play. The pills were dosed high at .5 gram per pill, and my back hurts but I am not dying of cancer like the patient they were dosed for. Also, he told me that it made people with very high tolerances act very down doped, so I just decided to stick to my IWE which I know is pure cannabinoid goodness.
Fair call Kalyx i made all forms of extracts, and i wouldn't smoke it unless i made sure myself that i have evaporated all remaining solvents, the solvent i use boils at an incredibly low temperature - 40 degrees Celsius so it doesn't take much to fully evaporate at all. Shellite leaves 0% residue after spill/evaporate test even a high volume like 500ml i have tested for this purpose alone. Also shellite is only volatile at 230 degrees Celsius if heated, and is only flammable very close range as the gas disperses very quickly, if you do the evaporation with a fan only outside in a closed off area from wind you would be fine, providing you use other flammable precautions in the first place.....no flames obviously.
I agree i like the natural extracts also, but for potency you can't really beat honey oil....in my opinion anyway. You never need a 2nd hit. Well you shouldn't if made from quality product.
downing .5 gram in a pill? daaaamn, thats alot of cannabanoids. I personally only use it for my insomnia, but it does work for pain relief, i totally believe it does.
out of 100mg of hash oil ( 0.10g ) i would get 5-10 hits on top of a bowl, depending on size, it goes a looooong way!so if that has any 'residue' at all, if any, is it worse than what we breath in the air everyday? i'm doubting that. But, stick with what YOU feel safe with by all means, if you are getting high, go for it
no offense but this method seems really fuckin sketchy, you probably shouldn't be using a petroleum based product for extractions even if you feel all the solvents have been evaporated this could be really dangerous. butane extractions are as far as people should take this i think

and you've researched this have you ???!!! sorry mate but get your facts straight before dribbling nonsense into my thread!!! what makes butane safer mate?? apart from the fact that its known to have toxic harmful substances in it??? Shellite is actually used as a cleaning solvent because it leaves no residue at all. If you read my thread properly instead of trying to put people off this magical substance, you would read my scientific facts in the above post....Shellite is one of THE cleanest solvents.
There is no chemical taste whatsoever, and smells just like the sticky resin of the plant it came from. You wold be hard pressed to find butane as clean or as reliable as Shellite. I bet you smoked butane hash not knowing anything about it at all! I hear complaint after complaint about butane......harsh on the throat, gives you the dries..... my shellite hash has mates begging for it, and i can never make enough
BUTANE EXTRACTIONS ARE THE ONES THAT GO BOOOOOOOM!!!!! BUTANE DOESNT EVEN REQUIRE A FLAME TO IGNITE AS IT'S VOLATILE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. YEAH SAFE. GO AND BURN YOUR FACE OFF WITH BUTANE THEN MATE.....please don't.
