So,
I am curious to see what others think of these guys. In the last week I have sampled 2 phenos of their "Rectangle" and 1 sample of Colorado Diesel and they were mind blowing. Honestly...the 2nd pheno of Rectangle is some of the best cannabis I have ever smoked. Every time I pull it out, I am in complete awe. Cant stop smelling it.
Anyway, these guys seem to be making some great genetics-
What have y'all seen concerning Rare Dankness?

honestly .... haven't seen anything. saw a couple posts like this 'semi promoting' them, but haven't seen anything actually run with end results.

maybe i'll promote TMSeeds ...... currently carried by AltitudeOrg South .... selection of Widow and Corleone Kush (the female has been known to put serious smokers to the test)crosses currently ...... if looking for dank Bubba crosses, pick up the pre98 Bubba x Corleone (pre-98 Bubba x SFV OGKush), wide range of phenos leaning towards Bubba dom traits

Never heard of rectangle haha but sounds bomb. I grew up in boulder, co. My buddy recently came out here from CO and was telling me about the colorado diesel cuz he saw that I grew sour diesel. Im gonna be out in colorado in about a montth to do some snowboard filming. Is it complicated to get ur medical card there? I would like to check out some of thhe dispensaries while im there but don't wanna have to go thru hassle to get my card.

Im eventually gonna move back to colorado to pursue snowboarding and possibly start a delivery service w/ a good sized grow. Especially since feds are all over california.

Eye candi: I got some sfv og and pre98(avatar pic) flowering right now. Gonna pick up some corleone clones in a couple weeks

to get your redcard, you need to be a 'resident'. CO currently doesn't recognize other state recomendations (not sure if any do?). It's not complicated, just need to have your Drs paperwork in order and see a MMJ Doc for the recommendation. After that, you apply to the State and wait @ 30-45 days to get your Card. once you have the card, you can buy at a dispensary. no card with only the recommendation, and most centers will turn you away until you have the actual redcard in hand. honestly, sounds like its not worth the hassle for you yet. the laws are lax enough that you'll mostly get a ticket if you get caught, so balance that against the time/energy to get the card now .... or wait until you move back.

as far as the delivery service .... the only way to do this currently, is underground. the state does not condone/sanction/approve of any sales outside the regulatory system and they do troll craigslist. just a heads up. CA is still the place to make some $$ because of the greymarket system. individual growers/sellers here are still blackmarket (caregivers can't sell to MMCenters, unlike Cali)

Cali is about to be smashed by the FED's for being way to lax with everything. Their medical is found in every state and it has finally pissed of the DEA enough to go get at em for it. Gotta love CO for having their shit together for the most part. Just an idea of how easy Cali is, I got my med card with a out of state ID and no paperwork what so ever. They are asking for some trouble IMO!

colorado does have its shit on lock, but like always politics is squeezing out individuals from being able to make any money. the restrictions on private caregivers are completely ridiculous....but then again the fact that i should need a doctors recommendation to not go to jail for eating a plant is definition of tyranny.

Honestly I've never even seen any strains by rare dankness on ANY dispensaries shelves. I'm not hating but really I've never seen it anywhere other than just seeds, no meds. Also IMO for unverified genetics, They are WAY TOO expensive for there never being any real reviews or meds anywhere, and does every strain have to be crossed with a haze? really? (last I saw over $125 for a pack, I'll pay $50 for 10 seeds LOL). I've stayed away until someone can prove that they are legit. I'd rather pick up TGA or THSeeds as they are both readily available, and more importantly, they are PROVEN!

a banana or 2 here or there but lots of little pulpits on the inner buds. my shops last batch of vortex, his supposed most stable strain, would have fed a family of monkeys for months, dutch reverse didnt help at all. just got 2 apollo 13 cuts that im keeping under close scrutiny, law only permits my roommates and i to flower 9 plants at a time so im dont have time for bullshit chaz bono strains

just googled it and the first hit was a thread that titled BUYER BEWARE!!! herm stock genetics were never something i expected to be such a huge problem in the grow world when i got started...i understand that breeders probably have their conditions under tighter lock, so stresses are kept to a minimum, but a fucking warning would be nice instead of just coughing up my money for a ruined harvest.

whats even worse is when my fucking dispensary sells clones of strains that have hermed in their own fuckin warehouse. KILL THAT SHIT!!!

only CaliCon i've run is the Corleone Kush. kept one girl, grow a few on the sidelines here and there (too light weight, but the smoke is serious dankness). one boy was used to hit some of my other girls (namely the Bubba .... the whole reason i picked up the CK was to cross and backcross. 15 @ 4"-7" tall now).

Keep in mind that CaliConnection is an umbrella for many different breeders - If one is bad doesn't mean the rest are and vice versa.

of course, im just sayin...first hit on google doesnt help anyones case.

granted ive been growin for a year and have had nearly every problem i can think of happen to me since, the problems have been my fault bu the nanners are my dispensary for slingin super unstable clones. i know a few seed banks have a "grow experience" threshold that they suggest you have per strain, i wish others would too to save newbs time, stress, money and herb. or maybe make a more concerted effort in breeding the easily hermed strains out of existence. its a problem ive seen get worse in stores recently, so it cant JUST be my newbness.

same here Chef. only 2 CO seed companies have ever responded to me. Centennial Seeds (sux .... dont buy em) and 303 Seeds <-- nice guys, GREAT knowledge about cannabis and breeding; while I haven't ran their gear yet (will soon tho, I have a pack of each to try!!), I have a lot of confidence in the folks behind it.

Yeah, this is kind of why I started the thread. I was curious to see what other growers thought of the genetics if anyone had grown them out....because the company itself seems pretty quiet on the scene. Like I said, the "rectangle" really blew my mind, awesome Indica for sure. I got it at Natural Alternatives in Ft Collins. I don't really understand why they do the "limited releases" on seeds. I would love to buy some seeds from the release with the Afghani IBL male...but you can't buy them anymore! Why do that? Maybe I am missing something but to me it seems to be an attempt to be the "cool, hip, not everyone has these strains" seed company.

limiteds can be from a couple factors. they are 'test' beans, not sure what they will do, so the masses get to test for em (while paying for em too). lost the father. not sure if they will be in biz long, so small batches. dunno

my limiteds are because i only do small batches and those that i gift to know they are mostly test beans (not enough time to test everything i've done yet)
