More seed stuff: I used botannicare pro grow + pro bloom through out the cycle on the alien bomb, 5ml of each plus a touch of cal mag (also botannicare) per gallon, ph to 6.0. The alien tech mother did wonderfully the whole time. No signs of any deficiencies. 3 gal air pot. t5 w the bloom bulbs. super low maintainance.
Pollen saving: I'm not going to say that I've had 100% success here. about 75% tho so something right is happening. My problem comes when trying to cut the pollen w flour. I've only tried to do that once and no dice. But when just saving it, I think I might be on to something. What I do is flower the male, as much our as little of him as you want, I like to do two branches so things don't get outta control. I catch pollen in one of the containers that you get from the dispensaries by just taping the target flower w the paint brush (from earlier) into the waiting container. I collect over five to seven days. I suppose it would be best to just do a one or maybe two day collection when fully in bloom, that way more stays viable, the longer you wait to get it in the cold storage (for me the fridge) the more will be useless. There in lies the problem, you have to dry the pollen out. I like a cfl in a table lap. I dry for at least three days to get the moisture (24hrs light) out and still get a good amount of viable pollen. Moisture will ruin it. I think you should be shooting for less than six days from plant to chill chest, that's why I just talked my ass into the two day method, haha. See learning as we go folks

I'm sure the five day nets some what of a loss... Using this method (five day catch) I have been able to keep pollen in shape for more than two months. I'm sure more would be good if you moved faster, ergo the 2 day suggestion, anyway...
Please if you have another technique that has been working for you, expand our knowledge. This is just what works for me

so ... Durban is probably Durban x Herijuana (never did DP x CK. only DP x H and DP fems). Afgooey however, could be crossed with either CK or H.

So im putting Afgooey x Corleon in flowering today along with 1 DP hopefully in 4-5 weeks ill be pulling them out almost ready to collect.
From reading so far this is what im thinking my plan will be.
In 4-5 Weeks when i see my balls are almost ready to pop ill move them outside wait for them to pop and shake the pollen onto a piece of paper and collect. Then Pollinate a few branches VIA Brush Method (Im Thinking Afgooey or Querkle might get crossed with Afgooey x Corleone) Then wait till the seeds look ready to harvest.
I dont just want to be chucking pollen so ill be looking for plant mixes that sound like they would compliment each other like the Bubba Danko. But since its my first project ill do some chucking fuck it

both sound killer. I forgot to give you guys some branches off the IC in veg, for cloning out. she is freakin huge in my veg room and if anyone wants branches to try and root out, they are here for the taking. I think the IC x Co-Gooey would be interesting, re-inforce the CK genes a bit, thin/spread out the Choco and Afgoo for a huge pheno selection.

Hmm me to i just dont know what the finally smoke of Co-gooey is like so its hard to say what i would want to cross it with
