Still probably sucks living in a property owned by someone who
knows you're growing and hates it. I'd be very nervous that he
would go beyond his bounds and do something bad.

I like the anonymous call idea, just to see if they're 420 friendly.
Who knows, maybe they're looking for a caregiver and you could
    grow bud for rent?

We tried emailing him about a property from an anonymous email, stating that the said person was a medical cardholder and wanted to grow her own medicine. We got an email back that simply said that property was rented, nothing about the medicine. I will have to wing it and hope that he doesn't want into the locked room in the basement, and hope that my carbon filter setup I am buying REALLY takes care of the smell.

As you requested, here is your tall plant porn. Here she is already tied down to control her height, but the light is almost flush against the 10 foot ceiling, and yes that is a 30 gallon trash can she is in, and the stalk is about the girth hand grip on a baseball bat. I should make some lumber out of her afterwords lol. She WILL be kept for decoration after harvest

Ok I looked into this also. Best bet is make you landlord aware of it before you move in. There is free legal advice in California pertaining this. Million dollar lawsuits have been won for evicted tenants. End of the day you will have made no friends from your landlord and they will find something else to get rid of you.

First off, they can't just enter the property unannounced. Many states have laws that require notification before entry, of at least 24 hours. Check your state laws on renter's rights. Most of the time, they enter only to do maintenance. It's possible that you'll never request that something be fixed.

I started a post about this same thing the other day...I saw a news report where this landlord was saying he and many others are not going to rent to any MMJ patients due to them being at risk of legal problems if the patient uses the property to grow/consume meds and possible commites a crime in the process.
And then there are some who say they simply refuse to rent to smokers, any smoke inside or out, and the law allows them this right.

I guess from a homeowners point of view...there are alot of things that can go bad by having someone growing on your property...you need to trust that this person is not an idiot for one, and honestly I'm not sure if I would feel comfortable with that going on in one of my houses without me there ( well I personally don't have "houses"..lol)
maybe if the state can come up with a way to keep the landlord out of Federal Court if the tenant fucks up...and they won't seize property, then things will change, we hope.
Good Luck...and nice plant! happy growing
I just realized this is Colorado...I'm in Michigan..lol...oh well, same shit going on here too! Peace
