hey so im gonna grow 3 plants indoors and i wanna know if that will be enough for the veg stage, if so how many more cfls would i need for flowing thxs for the help.

With CFL's u just never seem to have quite enuf.
With CFL's u may get a half oz when it's all said and done.
Spend $119 and get a 400watt hps, then u will get a half pound! Hell if u don't want to spend that get a 150 watt HPS.
CFL's will get the job done.
Do you want to get the job done or do u want to quit your job dun? I want to quit my job!

I am think that u might want to get 6 more and a couple 4 footers if you are dead set on using cfl's

Let cfl growers be man. If thats the choice they want to make. Everybody is not trying to get rich, some just want quality smoke. If I had 3 plants under cfl and got 2.5 to 3 oz every 8 weeks, that would be enough weed for personal use. Depends on ones ambitions. What if you just want personal smoke and you end up with fuckin pounds of weed laying around? Grow for what suits you. One thing I have noticed about cfl growin is that it is not a very loud operation. Cooling big lights require big fans, which make big noise! When will we stop having pissing contest?

When our balls shrivel up and die. like my girl always says... its the guys wiff the wee lil weiners that have the go big or go home thoughts....

I'm going to be growing 2-3 plants myself, and I think I'm going to use 8 CFL's, 2 Y sockets on either side, kind of hugging the plant:

The tip of each of those has a light, then I'm using a higher watt CFL in a circular hood from above to cover them with more light. Apparently you can't have anough CFL's but I just want enough so it's relatively inexpensive, NOT loud, NOT hot, and I have enough smoke until my next set of plants are ready to harvest. Same idea as you?

Im doing a grow right now with 4 plants using only CFL's. Im about 20 days or so into flower and everything is goin great! Im using more than 6 lights though... I have been vegging with 12-100w (equivalent) CFL's and now am adding 5 more. The more the better. CFL's dont penetrate through the canopy to reach those lower bud sites. You have to surround the plants with them. Get them close too. Or you will have some lanky ass bitches. It's my first grow and it's for personal use so if I can get 4-5 ounces I will be stoked. So, again... to answer your question... GET MORE. Good luck buddy...
