the only daylight bulbs ive found are at homedepot... even our lowes doesnt have daylight options... stupid.. you really need the 6500k for vegging.. im using 2 27 watt daylight a 45 watt full spectrum ge... had to call to get that info wasnt on the box from wallmart and 3 30 watt full spectrums from GE.... GE bulbs by the way are crap needed replacing very quickly compared to the others... setup and pics just click my name.. ill watch for updates! good thread

I use 8 - 85 watt cfls, (350 watt equivalent), 6500K. I also use 8 - 23 watt soft white cfls. These are great, especially during the flowering stage. (They have to be soft white bulbs). Aim them toward the lower part of the plant(s), and that will help to make the popcorn nuggets much bigger. I just harvested a Kush #11 and a Northern Light. I had the Kush in a small pot so yield wasn't great but the buzz was wonderful. But the NL.....pulled off almost 5 ozs. It's curing now and it is some incredible smoke. Couch lock and a long lasting buzz. Sorry to go off track a bit but I'm pretty satisfied with my lights and setup. Good Luck to all who are gardening.
