Topping not really.. I'm loving the fact they're getting nice and "taller" now, what I am however watching and having second thoughts about is your bling bling LST... that has me extremely interested as it doesn't really require me bending my plant too much on my own, less chance of breaking a stem your way atleast in my opinion.. Any other reading on that method wolf ?

lol... Yea I know what you mean.. I thought of it when I dropped a box of paper clips.. next thing I know I'm in the shop getting a box of washers lol

It's very simple really... I put 2 small washers in a bent paper clip and hang it on the branch I want to lower... if it doesn't gow down far enough then I'll add another washer. I will keep adding washers as the branch gets stronger if needed.... So far it seems to be working great. It will be interesting to see the difference at harvest between the scrog and this "bling bling" LST.. Just standing here in front of them with the door open and they do look like they are pimped out with small hoop earrings lol. It is something I have no problem recommending to everyone.

Hey FT, Our new arrival is doing great! And she has the added bonus of keeping me away from my plants (less poking and prodding going on!!)

As for my "girls" theyre doing great also.....lots of tiny little sprouts coming sideways off the main stems! I could do with them growing a bit quicker though as i have no weed and theres nothing about!! Aaaarrgghh!!!

Great to hear Mount4in !! Chrome, I really don't think I'm going to go ahead and top friend, I like you am a bit hesitant to try it, if anything I'm going to try some "bling bling" LST as per Wolfman Zen... But as of right now, I'm just letting them grow vertically !!!

9/05 Morning Update !!

Good Morning,
Heres todays update, its going to be a shorter one as I'm just really tired and well ntohing new to really report.. they are still growing up which to be honest I'm amazed, I'd think they'd be root bound and stopping they're growth sooner than later, guess I"m wrong !! lol, not that its a bad thing. Just a suggestion...

I use a mac, and I have a gif program...

If you want, set up the photos somewhere I can have access to them and I can try...

Thanks gypsy thats much appreciated, I had looked into making it myself but I don't have a copy of Photoshop presently otherwise I guess it didn't look tooo difficult.. As for access to the pics, you can get any of them via my albums here on RIU, I have all the pics ever posted and then some on there...

I'm just waiting for the plants to wake up have the lights on for an hr before I go snapping pics and moving them around !

9/6 Morning Update - 12/12 Day 6

Morning RCC (RollitUp CFL Crew) <-- Adding to signature for micro revolution !!

Whats up ppl ?? So I've decided that I'm going to keep my morning updates quite short from now on till there is a showing of sex and then as bud production occurs I'll continue to update. Its just becoming an EXTREMELY long thread of my pics every morning. I will happily continue to do so if those of you still reading request me to do so. Otherwise I'll still update often since I wanted this jornal as more of a personal record of my grow than anything else. Ok so with that lets get to todays "news". So we're heading into day 6 of 12/12 + 24hrs of Dark so we've been outta Veg for about a week now. Still no signs of sex AT ALL, I wake up and see something that could be a ball or hair but as the afternoon comes it turns out its a new leaf growth or what not. So I've learnt over this past week not to get over excited and/or disapointed. The more reading I do the less I'm sure how long it "should" take to show sex. I've heard anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks, guess time will tell... I'm having another Brainstorm thought process idea thingy, lol...I'm wanting to get my plants more lights, whether it be from the side or off angles not from the top (I have that covered for now) so I'm thinking about getting 1 or 2 sockets that I can attach to the sides of my walls and toss a bulb or splitter and 2 bulbs in there. Now for your opinions ( since my plants aren't exactly "tall" do I really need side lighting at this point ? Coud,l my plants benefit from more light ?? I dunno I guess I could really just leave it be and it'll continue on slowly as can be.. I'm just trying to increase my potential WITHOUT HID

HK is having daily growth spurts.. to keep track I'm using a chop stick lol ya know the wooden disposable ones. Anyway I put the tip in the soil maybe a cm or two and then mark off the height of my plants, same as I had done prior with a pencil and before that a sharpie.. just goes to show the progression Anyway HK is now about a full inch taller than TH and definatly fuller. However TH is starting to get into the swing of things and bush out a bit too. Todays pics are kinda off.. I took a top down of each plant, a full box shot, a leaf that I messed up by accident, and then maybe a random shot or two of some deeeeeeep green Indica leaves

Here's a leaf I accidentally ripped while putting the pot in the sink to water (it hit the faucet) it was quite traumatic.. for me lol I was freaking out for a bit...


Next up is a Box shot, of my 2 babies side by side.. hopeing for Twin Girls !!!

Thats actually all I took of TH today, shes not made too much progress so untill so I'll ease back on the pics

Thats about it for my morning update.. Today I'm going to look into the side lights or even just more lighting OR possibly covering some cardboard in mylar and trying to up my reflectivity within the box could help !!!

you are doing gr8 FT, it can take a while for them to show sex, if you are going to be doing some shopping for your grow, may I suggest getting something for magnification, the hairs or balls may be there I use a 30x jewlers loupe usually need 10x magnification to see the hairs or balls clearly at first, plus you will need it when they flower to check the thrichs
