Hey thanks thcbloom !! Thats awesome to see another gta'er here. And to answer your question yes and no. I did see the ad on the back of the magazine and looked at it alot, however they don't have a website and that kinda bothered me. Unless they do and I'm just a big stoner which is very possible. Another reason I went with Toronto 420 is cause I happened to be at my brothers place yesterday and he lives around the corner from kensington so I just went for a walk and did it. I wanted 5 seeds as I'm aiming for a mother to clone. Any idea what strain your going with ? how much room do you have ? I was debating the Hindu Kush or Blueberry Skunk also from Toronto 420. In the end I wanted a "pure" strain so to speak so I took the Kush. I didn't wanna just go to the Ontario seed bank to "look around" I did that at Sacred Seeds and it just felt weird. So yeah, thats my reasoning !! Keep me posted on what strain you go with and your grow.. Maybe we can do a lil clone swap thanks for stopping bye !!

Update 20 hrs of Germination..

So, SS has cracked and there is a nice lil white head pokeing out.. but still far too small to plant.. BS has just started to crack open but no signs of white yet... Will update again in 4 hrs at the full 24 hr mark !!

Alrighty, heres my 34 hrs of Germination update:

SS: "she" has cracked open and has about a 1mm tap root showing. I'm going to give it only a few more hrs and constantly check on it so it doesn't grow into the paper towel. SS will be planted at some point today !!!!

BS: Not as lucky with this one, "shes" still in her shell I thought I saw a crack last night but I must have been mistaken. I will continue to look at BS as I check on SS.

Thats all for now folks ! I'll update again when SS is in soil.

Alrighty, well based on the advice of Chiceh and another person I spoke too I decided to plant SS with her little tail instead of waiting for the tail to get bigger and possibly grow into the paper towel.

So this is the real beginning !!! HK SS (Hindu Kush - Small Seed) has been planted and I have 2 pictures of very exciting dirt. lol.. enjoy as I wait in agony for something to sprout !!!



As you can see the temps are still a slight bit high and RH% is low but I'll be working on those as this goes on...

Update: So after 40 hrs, BS has done nada not even crack, nothing, I'm only impatient as the other one cracked and popped so quickly. Anyway since i"m really looking for just one mother plant to constantly clone. I decided to start germinating one more seed so that even if all 3 pop I end up with at least 1 mother. I'm going to name the third one well #3 for now. So thats my little update... I'll post again at 48hrs then not again till something happens..

Don't worry FT... out of my 6 seeds.... one poped right away, a few take a couple of days... and the last one popped 4 days later... 2 didn't do anything.... so just keep and eye on them. for at least 5 days before giving up on any of them.

Yea, I hear ya Wolfman, I'm just being impatient I know it can take up to a few days, I'll just watch it and give it one maybe 2 mists a day from the spray bottle.

I'm hoping BS cracks at least at the 48hr mark give or take. And We'll see about #3 give that one at least a day
