Default Is my plant almost ready for harvest?

Hey I was wondering if my plant looks about ready for harvest, or if I should give it a few more weeks. I'm guessing another week or two, but I'd rather get some opinions





What do you guys think, a few more weeks?

EDIT: Thought I'd add some detail.
It's from seeds I got off a friend, he doesn't know the strain or anything.
I'm growing under CFLs, probably not enough, but the plant seems to be doing alright considering. I've just started giving the plant water without any nutrients. The plant is about 2 foot tall

It looks like it needs more time. The only way to be sure is to use a 30X + microscope to view the trichomes on the plant. If you read the GrowFAQ there is a section on harvesting and curing that will explain it all.

Thanks for the advice, I don't have a microscope so I was hoping to go by how the plant looks. But I'll try and get one soon just to be sure.

from what ive read a good way to tell is when 2/3 of the white hairs turn orange or redish

That seems like a good way to tell, thanks. It's just that I have plenty of orangey brown hair on the plant, but there's always more green or white ones growing.
