Alright, me and my friend have Thought long and hard about it and we are willing to get just a small amount (ounce maybe two) of bud from my idea, we realize that we will be putting in alot of effort but once we get things going it will be a breeze. I am asking for any opinions you may have or advice on how to make the setup better. We are very limited on money and this is the best i could come up with on such a small budget.

I have a small, maybe one week old, baby pineapple kush plant that is going strong under one CFL light with reflector ( I have no idea the wattage, i looked at the bulb and could'nt find any indication of what it is, but it is doing strong) but i soon realized that i need to step up and get something set up soon, so here it is:

First i will go to walmart and get four 42-watt CFL's, a power strip, those adapters that plug into outlets and you can screw your lights in, and this (Walmart.com: 60-Quart Navy Storage Bin, Set of 6: College 08) NO it will NOT be 60 quarts and it WILL be a solid color, i am just to lazy to look it up.

Second: i will take the bin and cut a hole on one side and a hole on the other side ( the back of the box at the top before the lid) i will insert one computer fan in each hold and face them in different directions, this will count as my exhaust. ( i was thinking and would it fly for me to just cut those same holes and put a small fan in there to blow on the plant?)

Third: i will then place hooks into the top of the lid faceing down (on the inside) and place strings attached to the power strip, which has those adapter plugs in it, to the top and adjust height compared to my plant.
this will be the mothers own private place ( oh ya and all of the power strips will have timers)

after the two month span i plan on spending for vegging i will have, by that time, gotten all of the same ingredients and done the deal twice more.

in these two bins i plan on putting FOUR and only FOUR clones in every two weeks in order to get the effect for the SOG. (The clones will veg with mom since there will be plenty of room, i will also start another mother as soon as possible from a clone) ( im not sure if you are alowwed to use a clone as a mother, please enlighten me)

this is my plan. me and my friend have discussed it and are not looking for a crazy huge yeild, just enough to get us through for two weeks, maybe sell some, so we can always have some kb.

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions, blah, blah, blah... would be greatly appreciated.

p.s plants will be in seperate 8" pots

Hey buddy, i like it. Let us know how it turns out and if you can post some picks of your set up. I dont know if you stumbled onto this tread befor but if you need some inspiration check this one out. DIY 4oz. minimum yield grow box. It seem to have worked great for daveg1i.

sounds pretty good. im currently growing fem PPP under 5 23 watt cool cfl's and i think it should be fine, it's only a week old.

I have done basically the same thing except i have one box and the lights on 12/12 th whole time straight from seedlings. I am a week in and will keep an eye on ur plants if your gunna write a journal.

growing in those rubber maid tubs is cool and all but they're kinda small and will limit you, but good luck
