Alright so today one of my friends gave me his 2 plants and his whole set up cause he is moving to new york in 2 days. its an old dresser 3' long 3' tall and 18" wide theres a 2' 20w flo and 2 20w cfls what can i do to make this better? the plants are only about 10 inches tall i have no clue how long he had them veg for and there both females witch is a good thing but i have a feeling i will only get an 1/8 out of each lol can i get some advice?

how do i figure out my wattage output? sorry im new to this also there only 2 weeks in to flowering should i switch them back to a 18/6 or 24/0 so they can veg and get bigger? or will that harm the plant?

it will not hurt the plant but i will slow down for a bit, get some more cfl's.

alright thanks and how should i come upon switching it back to veg? shoul i gradually switch it back to 18/6 or 24/0?

Go ahead and switch them to 18/6 now... and get more cfls! Go to wall mart and get some "daylight" cfl's in the highest watt rating available. You want at LEAST 4 cfl's on each plant. I would put 6 on each. You should get rid of the floro tube, it's not helping any... and do you know what kind of cfls are on the plant right now? what are there wattage rating? are they "daylight" or "warmlight" cfl's? By the way... you will need to also pick up a few "warmlight" cfls for flowering.. but you can do that later when you are ready for flowering.

ok i will switch it now this is my first grow so i just wanna get some buds out of it im not lookin for perfect yet haha practice makes perfect i went to home depot today and i got 4 14w soft white cfls all i could afford right now so i have 1 20w 1 15w 4 14w equivalent to 60w (if that means anything idk if it does) there all soft white cfls when i get more money i will buy more lights can i use that flor tube on my clones that are 8 days old?

i decided to just keep flowering them since there over 2 weeks in there still about 10" but i added 4 more lights today with a total of 6 lights for 2 plants heres a pic
