Hey im going to do another cfl grow with 2 chocolate 2 jamacan and 2 white russian seeds. I just have some questions

When using cfls how long should you wait before you start flowering

how many lights should you have per plant

My growbox is 4 feet high, is there any way with cfls i could have an end result ofplants that are 3.5 feet tall and yielding 150 to 300 grams?

should you top your plants when using cfls

Personally I'd say give them about a month before flowering, but it could be longer if ya wanted

I've got one per plant, NEAR to them in a white cupboard with a reflective "shelf" about 2 foot above the shelf with the plants on...so the amount of light does the job, but I'd have 2-5 per plant if I could afford it

To answer the unanswered? you can definately top or w/e your plants under CFLs, i early topped and LST and tyed the shit out of mine in my little box, and i would also like to add yea 3-5 weeks veg would be perfect for your desired height and yield, just make sure you read up on CFLs if you already havn't b/c its probably the most stressful and tedious way to grow, and everything has to be the right type or its fucked, you probably know all of this.
depending on how many lights and how powerful each cfl is for each plant, i would say 10000 lumens of split 2700/6500k lights per plant will get you that qp-HP yield total all 4( hopefully fem ) and upwards of a 3/4 p and depending on the strength of your cfls, it they have to be like within 2-6 inches of foliage i would go with about 8 - 10 42 watt CFLs cause they got like 2600 lumens each and split it up about 60-40 or 70-30 2700k-6500k cause vegging with cfls goes good with either, its not worth it buying two sets if you dont plan to veg HARD, i didnt and vegged for a month and got good size by start of flowering, anyway good luck man.
