Here are pics of Iris and Sadie. The are bagseed, but you have to work with what you've got. They popped out of the ground on Thursday. The pics were taken Friday night.

I'm so proud of my girls. I gave up on my outdoor grow. It wasn't going so well. These little ladies are growning right here in my "office" so we can spend plenty of time together.

I'm hoping for some special weed from them for the x-mas smoke out.

It's the evening of day 4 and Iris and Sadie look good to me. They went outside today to sunbathe from 10 am to 4 pm then came back inside to relax under their 6500K daylight bulb. They seem content.


For those of you who use Superthrive, when do you start using it? Right now they're getting just plain water. I let it sit ouside in a jug intil I'm ready to use it, let all that bad crap evaporate.

This is pretty much my first grow. My outside grow flopped and I've given up on it, so any help would be appreciated.

When should I start giving them something other than water?
I was considering starting them on a very weak dose of superthrive soon. Is that a good idea or a mistake?

I wouldn't give them anything for at least another week. And I don't know about superthrive (heard about it, never tried it)

I think you would be better off with using fish emulsion instead. Safest stuff I know of and great for young plants.

When they are about a week and a half to 2 weeks old, give them a watering with 1/4 strength fish emulsion.

Trying to add any kind of nutes now can burn them easily.

Iris and Sadie and doign well, they are 9 days old today. I have also decide to put up lics of Lucinda, she started as my outside grow that went poorly. She got spider mites, and lost most of her leaves. I dug her up, put her in a pot in a sunny location, hosed her down with soapy water and she came out of it. Now she's on the same in the house, out of the house as Iris and Sadie.

I also discovered in Lucindas pot on Wednesday, 2 sprouts that had been written off. The seeds were planted maybe a month ago, but they didn't sprout till now. What a surprise. I'm calling them Flotsom and Jetsom.

Use superthrive ( a drop or 2 per gallon is all u need) right up untill flowering. Let your tap water sit out at least two days. You have 5 plants? Your going to need a bunch of CFL's. Check out my 1st grow. I learned a ton from it. I'm in the middle of harvesting 6 plants from an 850watt cfl grow. Bagseed just like you. I'm getting some excellent smoke from it too.

Hey thanks for the input. It's always nice to hear from someone if my plants are looking good or screwed lol. Flotsom and Jetsom were 2 seeds that had cracked and I planted but didn't grow. I had written them off. So when they sprang the other day, they were a surprise.

I think Jetsom got burned by the light today, so she may be a goner, only time will tell.

If Lucinda gets some size on her she'll probably go to 12/12 at the end of Sept when the equinox hits. The others I'm going to just wing it.

R I P Jetsom.

Now Flotsom needs a new name, it sounds dumb by its self.

Think I'm going to call Fotsom Bonnie from now on.

Hehheh, I'm not growing CFL, outdoor exclusively for now, but I'm diggin' your story.

I set mine outside from 10 ish to 5 ish before they are on cfl's from 6 am to outside and from inside to 10:30 ish or whenever I can't stay awake any longer.

But hey, I went out to put away the pot I had Jetsom in and found another long since forgotten seed that decided to sprout . I set that pot over by my corn and it's just going to stay outside.
