um, have you done it? cause as someone who has, my data says you are wrong.

the gad load of CFL's is plenty hot, the light dispersement is pathetic and the yield is low. 150 watt HPS is not that hot and so much more better.

try it if you have the CFL's. in a small area ScrOG is the best use of resources and the CFL's do work. they just leave a lot to be desired.

In general cfl's can not compete with hps.... however, if you were to read my reply correctly, under some circumstances it is more practical to use cfls over hid. If you have say 1 sq foot of grow space, scrog method, would you use a hot 100w hps, or 4 cool running 23w cfls.. in that limited space the difference in resulting yield is minimal, but the practicality of cfl's over hps is obvious... and yes I'm actually doing that exact grow right now.

i wouldnt use 4 23 watt CFL's. i use 12 in that space cause i like to get some sort of yield.

trust me on this, you CAN use 150 watt HPS in that space and the results will amaze you.

really, i aint just bashing CFL's... i use them. HPS gets my vote EVERY time.

Just follow my grow, it is a small cab scrog with cfl's. I'm sure you'll get some ideas... Micro ebb/flow (NOW DWC), all CFL ScrOG, perpetual Stealth locker
