growing some midgrade bagseeds under 4 cfls, 2 42w, 30w, 27w and slowly covering the box in mylar...( gotta eat more chips lol) with a small fan over a small opening at the top... have a white long sleeve to lead it inside the box, 3 vent holes in the back of the box for air to escape.... what yall think??

I have a question is the fan on the top blowing in or pulling out? How are the temps? I can't really give you any advice since i'm doing my first real cfl grow and I am still working out some problems in my box.

temp is around 78 degrees at night and bout 85 in the afternoon. and its above the box blowing it in downward and exits at the vents on the other end

I like the set up. I have 2 fans going and get about the same temps as you MOST of the time. When its real hot outside i get to about 92. Still trying to figure out how to fix it I keep my room as cold as possible.

Guess an A/C is in my near future.

on hot days i just open the closet door a lil to let the hot air escape instead of circulating in there.... yea ima replace the foil with mylar as soon as possible...

Lol took that advice today actually helped a lot but I want something more concrete for when I am not at home to open up the door. I'll prob go with a mini ac for about $100 at walmart tomorrow.

inline fans to take out the heat would work. i learned the hardway by losing a whole harvest to heat. so get your ass over to home de pot and get your self a 6" inline fan to suck hot air out of there dont get the 4" it whistles to much, trust me! i found that out the hardway too... they cost around 20-30 bucks and oh yea thats a fire hazard!! cardboard bro c' mon i know your a stoner but take a few second to think .

oh shit your right!... fuck i was thinking of easy stuff to build it out of.... damn it... hmm can i use a plastic box yall think?

like a rubbermaid tub? I think I've seen plenty of grows using two of those stacked on top of each other. I almost used that for my grow box but I thought It might melt due to lights but I'm pretty sure it would be way safer than cardboard.
