anyone know of some good online sites that ship in the US for CFL? home depot seems too over priced. Also, the site should be good for any sort of fixtures etc. you need to plug the lights into the wall (preferably where you can hook 2 CFL lights into a Y adapted fixture)

Can anyone verify 1000bulbs.com? I know a lot of people recommend it but on resellerratings.com its got like a 5/10 rating. A lot of people complain about bulbs that don't work and shipping problems etc...

try looking at your local wally mart kmart or target. you can even order from wallymart or target online try googling what your looking for.

I bought 2 105w medium base CFL's off of 1000bulbs.com; They showed up pretty quick, neither had visible damage and both have been working great now for a month.

I have used 1000bulbs multiple times and have never had a problem. everything shipped fine, arrived fine etc. actually the first bulbs I purchased from them are still going(almost two years, hard use)

cool. ill try those and maybe stop in at a target. home depot was selling them, but just too expensive and didnt have the right socket/fixture i wanted

edit: this may sound dumb, but what is the thing called that the CFL light actually screws into? I would like to find one of those, but have it split so i can power 2 bulbs using only 1 outlet (like a Y-adapter of sorts)

1000bulbs for me too. Have made around 10 orders with them and not a single problem.
