im starting my first grow with some grim 99 x with white widow but im not sure which lights to use for the vegitation or flower now im only growing one plant so i was wondering if i could find any lights that is under the limit of $30 dollars that would give me a decent yield. any suggestions will be apreciated.

i would either get four foot shop lights or cfls, your choice man

The 4 foot shop lights would be a waste for one plant. The plant would only use a foot or less of it. (unless you grow a 4ft wide plant lol). I use 4ft tubes , but i had 10 plants in a row under em. Go get a 42 watt cfl from any hardware store. when the plant gets bigger get another one. Then when the plant gets bigger get some more....repeat this process untill you are smokin them plants! lol Good luck!!

LOL yh 42w cfls are ok ...but your gonna have to buy 3 a plant to get middle sized buds (and 42w x 3 = 126watts)
or buy a 70w hps ballast and bulb all in one ..from alot of normal garden stores or others

Well yeah...if you can get an hps that would be great, but since this is the CFL forum I assumed you where going to use...um...CFL's.

Yh fair play i forgot about that lol Yh cfls are cheap .. so you might have to anywayz as 30 bucks is only 15 english pound and they are about 30 pound so 60 bucks
