does anyone have any good suggestions on lights that i could buy under the limit of $30 dollars i just want one plant but i dont know which type of lights to buy for both veg or the flowering process any suggestions would be apreciated.

When you just start out and your plant is small 1 or 2 bulbs is fine. You can add more as you go ( and I suggest you do) 6500k bulbs are full spectrum and will work good for both veg and flower. generally you want 4000k and higher for veg, and 3300k or lower for flower. A mix is always good though. There are good deals on lights on EBAY and 1000bulbs.com.
Keep your CFL's super close to the plant!! A cfl puts out light as strong as sunlight from about an inch away, but from 6 inches away its VERY weak. Weed grows so fast, if you have your lights close enough you will need to raise and adjust them everyday so the plants dont grow into them and get burned. Make sure you read the GrowFAQ, it'll help a lot. Good luck, happy growing.

yh 30 bucks will buy you Cfls but your not gonna be happy with what you get with only 30 bucks worth of cfls ...
try a floodlight 70w hps ...they are cheap and come with bulb and ballast (better for flowering than cfls but not vegging)
