i am going to be starting my first cfl hydro scrog grow soon with pure power plant seeds, feminized.
i am going to black out the reservoir, line the insides of the growbox, place a small circulation fan in there and put in an exhaust fan as well.

setup:
1 x 125 watt 2700k red spec for flower
1 x 125 watt 5600 blu for veg
(a couple of 30w cfl's around the sides as well, for good measure)
flora bloom
flora micro
canna flush
canna bloom

growbox:
65" tall
42" wide and deep
12L reservoir
drip irrigation system
white matt paper for interior
growing medium, rockwool + perlite

questions:

will i be able to use both of the 125w cfls together, so would it be fine if i used them both for vegging and both for flowering?

i was planning to use the lucas formula for nutrients. would this be suitable for my setup, and is it a good method?

yes its best to use full spectrum during the entire grow. best of luck on the grow will keep checking up it. check out my 1st grow used no nutes (soil though not hydro) only that good ol' tap water just harvested a few days ago.

1st grow, no nuts, under 190 watts cfl, done, harvest

thats a pretty awesome yield for no nutes and only 190w of cfl man.

Hey does anyone know the best strain to grow under cfls .. too many people getting busted around my town because of high electricity bills 8 in 2 weeks...So going clfs Buddha

thanks, i really only did this as a experiment before i tried hydro just to see how the plant formed etc what to look for, it was simply amazing watching my 6-8 inch topped plants turn into 3 1/2 foot monsters. good luck man i'll be checking back daily.

i thought that suspicious electricity bills were not a good enough basis alone for a search warrant.

personally i'd say stick with indicas or 50-50 hybrids unless you are growing scrog, then use sativa.

i'm going to be growing PPP scrog. i have heard and seen good results with it under cfls.

Hey Sublimed , cheers on the PPP, the cops here make up there own rules , hows this the govenment just made it illegal for bike riders (like me) to associate with other riders ,if they think you are in a MC they can serch ur house car etc. NO warrent and they are running FREE courses for real estate agents on how to look out for grows Cheers Buddha
