| | 10 wk flowering under cfl's | | This is my first grow that has gone all the way, they say that it's better if you dont use cfl but I am impressed with what I am going to yield I think I will let it go another 1-2 weeks on 12/12 and then it will be lights 0/24 for about a week or 2 and then its chop chop chop. any suggestions from experienced growers is apreciated.

| | Way to grow!! I never heard of 0/24 for a week or more. I heard 0/24 for like 2 days before you chop. I also heard that a very cold night or two just before harvest makes it "bleed out" the maximun THC in an attempt to save itself from the cold. I don't know for sure but I've got prolly 8 more weeks to figure it out lol. Good luck whatever you do. |

| | everything I know about growing is from this site, so i know i read somewhere to leave the plant in the dark for a week or 2, but if I only have to do it for a day or two is fine by me, i am dying to start the drying process so that I can start curing, do you think? I should let it go another week, or should i start the 0/24 now i really dont think the buds will grow to much bigger, the reason you see burnt leaves is because (I am inexperienced and fucked up with the nutes like 8wks into flowering, it recovered somewhat from what you see in the pics, some people have said that it does not look like its quite ready yet.

| | From pic #4 . . . looks about ready to me. Should maybe start flushing now? Been growing for 30+ years and have never personally heard of the 24 Hr. 0ff thing, except on this forum. Not saying it's a waste of time, just not familiar w/any perceived benefit and don't plan on adding it to my method regardless.

| | dont know the strain, the seeds were giving to me by a friend that went to amsterdam during the winter, all I know is he said it was very good, its not just one bud however, you can see the cola's buds have all grown to meet each other making it look like one giant fat as bud, and there are more buds on shoots around the main stem but they slowed down in groth considerably when I had the nute incedent........ is that what you meant by one bud?

| | so you with your experience would harvest what you see? Also interesting is the fact that you based your oppinion off of pic#4 that happens to be as you well know the cola and also the part of the plant least affected by the nute burn which looks ready to me also, How many times do you feel I should flush and should I wait for it to completely dry in between flushes? Thanks

| | Harvest? Maybe. Begin flushing, definitely. Uhmm, I've never bothered w/flushing either, but wasn't aware of it til this coming harvest, and probably will now. I believe it's done during the last 2-3 waterings, about 2 weeks before harvest?
There must be something re: flushing technique(s) in the harvest section of the FAQ's. GROWFAQ
