Those Bulbs are not self ballast. They rely on the ballast attached to the fixture they are intended for.

Update: Day 8 of Flowering 12/12
Lights: 4 red (2700k) 1 42w (2600lumens), 3 23w (16x3 = 4800lumens)
1 blue 26w daylight (6500k) (2600lumens)
Total: 138w, 10,000 lumens
Soil
No nutes yet hard to find stuff high in P. still looking gotta couple of nurseries (plant places) to go to.

Took a shot at cloning might've worked i think i cut them to small, got a sprout going, a bunch of seeds germin

Made a generic veg box 3 lights (1 26w daylight (6500k), 1 bright white 23w (2700k), and 1 27w (5500k)). 4 clones, 1 sprout

1 big plant flowering, other 5 veggin for a lil bit the going in the flower box.

Had to chop down the other plant (Sugar turned out to be Shit!) so now im down to one bushy Spice girl. No nuts this one like the other one.

did you use rooting hormone? for the clones?

or did you just cut them and put em in soil?

I used Schultz take root its a powder just make the cut, dip in water, then dip in powder make sure its all around the bottom even a lil extra so that when you mist the top and add a lil water the take root is still around the plant even in the dirt.

Day 12 Flowering
(we'll say day 42 since finding them and bringing them inside)

Confused yes! About the sex of my plant. All the talk about pistils poikng out and what not i dont have them yet. i have branches that look like they have ice cream cones with green fruity pebbles on top,and there are leaves poking out with a white outline and like a green center coming from the like the bottom of a celery stalk. there are about ten or eleven places that look like that. I hope that the pictures can help with any feedback.

help me out with any knowledge.

the first two pictures are from the top, third one is from a side branch, and the last picture is of my setup.

I have been reading thru this and was just wanting to ask about your light set up.
I see you keep adding all the lumes together to get a total amount of around 10,000.
I thought lumes do not add like that? What ever the highest lume you have on 1 light
is the total for the hole set up? So if your 42w CFL has X amount of lumes then that
is as high as your going to get?
