Since your grow space is only 0.86 square feet i dont think you really need 10,000 lumens. I mean if you can get that much in there go for it and your plant will love you for it, but I only have about 6400 lumens in a grow space of around 3.5 square feet and my plant is nice and bushy. I'm moving up to 8800 lumens for flowering.; |

since i have such a small area i think im gonna go with 2 42watt daylight cfls that are 5000k and put out 2600 lumens each. will 2 of them do the trick and i can add 1 more later on if i need it for vegging?

i also wanted to add that i was planning on using 3 42watt warm white cfls that are 2700k and put out about 2800 lumens each. will either of these be enough for my little plant in such a small space? sorry for asking so many lighting questions, i read the grow faq on lighting but im still confused.

would i need different bulbs because i read that adding another bulb of 2800 lumens wont add any just spread out the light more.

LOL i had 3 x 85w Cfls 5500 lumens each and i didnt get a lot of bud lol i was pissed . But now i got some 125w bulbs 12000 lumens each and now its Beast turst me you wont get much save the 8 weeks and get a better Cfl
