I decided to post some photos from seedling to flowering stage they are in now. When I first started growing I under watered the plants so they were slow growing. Why did I choose bagseed? It was my first grow and I didn't want to screw up on expensive seeds.
Can you let us know how much you get from this? I'm a complete newbie so am germination 6 seeds I got out of a descent but not great commercial bag and want to use CFL's for their simplicity.
Also could you tell me where you got your lights? I look at Home Depot but the 65W bulbs are a proprietary mogul setup that only works with the Lights of America outlet and they have horrible reviews (burn out really quickly). I read something about N:Vision bulbs but can't find them in 43W version. Edit: I just found them on the Home Depot website, they are 42W's from N:Vision, silly me using exact numbers instead of just looking at bulbs
Anyway thanks for the journal, looks awesome, hope I have as good an experience, and let us know how it all comes out.
Watered plants yesterday with 1 gallon distilled water each with 30 mL of hydrogen peroxide and 1/4 teaspoon of Jack's Classic Bloom (10-30-20).
Plant #1: Height is now 30.5 inches and width is 21 inches. The main cola keeps on growing as well as new bud sites popping up. The pistils are getting pretty long.
Pictures (1-6)
Plant #2: The main cola and main stem are approximately 25 inches high. The second cola and second stem are 19 inches high.

GE 42 watt 2700k are available at Wal-Mart for I believe $8.50 so they are cheaper than Home Depot. I used GE 26w 6500k for the veg stage. You can also purchase bulbs at www.1000bulbs.com. I recommend getting "Y" socket adapters so you can plug in 2 bulbs instead of one. I will definitely let everyone know how my grow turns out. Right now the buds keep flourishing every day.
I was out of town 1 day too long last week before the plants got watered and it made plant #1 wilt and plant #2 leaves started turning yellow. This gave both plants some minor shock but I needed to dry out my soil because of my gnat problem. Gnats are now gone though!!! The plants are looking better now although most fan leaves became necrotic.
Watered plants yesterday with 1 gallon of water and 1/4 tbsp of Jack's Classic Bloom. Next watering is probably the 13th.
Plant #1: Height it is about 32 inches. Plant is still recovering from wilting last week. Yellow leaves are falling off.
Pictures (1-4)
Plant #2: The main cola and main stem are approximately 25 inches high. The second cola and second stem are 20 inches high. Yellow leaves falling off. This is a strange plant... Buds are growing from the bottom of the stem all the way to the top and are getting bushy now.
Pictures (5-8)
Does anyone think the buds and colas are undersized for 30 days into flowering?

You should try and get those cfls as close to the plant as possible without burning them. Try getting the lights about 1-2 inches away. Or put your hand near your plant and bring the bulbs closer and closer until you hand gets really warm then keep it there. CFLs lose a lot of lumens the farther away they are from the plant. You may discover greater growth with the lights closer. Also have you tried molasses for your waterings?

Thanks for your advice! I was thinking about moving the lights closer but wasn't sure how to. I finally moved them closer, it just took a long time to fix everything. I typically use about 2 tbsp of molasses with every watering. With the last watering I decided not to use it as an experiment. I noticed when I first started using molasses the plants would get brown spots in the middle of a leaf. For a while, I thought the molasses might have been hurting the plants.
Ya just make sure not to have the lights too close and be checking them daily because they could grow so much that they get too close to the lights and get burnt. The last thing you want is to burn your buds cause it will pretty much kill them.
Plants were last watered on May 24th. Added sand to pots to help control gnat problem. I will be using Jack's Blossom Booster (10-30-20) for my fertilizer. On my next watering, I was thinking about using one gallon of 80% distilled water and 20% H2O2. Lighting is 12/12.
The lights fell a few times during the vegetative stage and it singed some of the leaves. The plants still remain strong and healthy with minimal stress.
Plant #1: This plant is doing great for the most part except for a few discolored leaves. The bud sites are starting to show lots of pistils. The main kola has over 30 pistils.
Plant #2: I am a bit worried as a lot of the lower leaves are turning yellow and some browning in the middle of some the leaves. The bud sites are really close to the stalk of the plant. The brown discoloration may be due to molasses that's when I first noticed it.(Pictures 16 & 17 show the brown spots on the leaves) It is not due to the leaves being burned even though I did burn a few in the veg state. This plant looked really mutated during it's seedling stage. I will try and find a picture to show what I started with compared to what it is now.
Plant pictures have descriptions.
Both plant's buds keep growing more everyday!
I was thinking about adding 2 additional 42w 2700k? Does anyone think that is too much light? That would be put me at a total of 16 lights if I did that.
Shit they are looking Sw33t .....!!

The buds are getting bigger and new buds keep popping out. The smell is starting to get stronger. I can see trichomes forming on all the buds. Some look so juicy and packed full of crystals I just want to eat them.
Watered plants today with 1 gallon of water each. pH adjusted to 6.8.
Plant #1: Height it is about 34 inches. The top 4 lights fell on the main cola and burned her. I am upset that I didn't secure the lights better but hopefully the cola recovers.
Pictures (1-6)
Plant #2: The 1st cola on this plant is just swelling as its diameter increases daily. The 2nd cola is doing well also. The buds are really close to the stem and are getting huge. There is a lot more crystal on the buds on plant 2 compared to plant 1.
