okay so im making a box that is going to be 2' d, 4'w, 4'h. Now i wanted to do a CFL grow, so i was wondering how many cfl's should i use/what watt cfl should i use?
im wanting to grow 4-8 plants... just letting them veg for 3-5 days then flowering..
any help would be greatly appreciated

The dimensions of your box are pretty much the same as what I have. I am using five 26-watt (100-watt equivalent) cool natural light CFL's, they come in packs of two for six something at walmart..I have 9 plants total and the lights and pots are setup so that the light hits every one perfectly, I've had no problems thus far.

yea id rather get as much as i can outa the box, would it be possible to use 5 42 watt bulbs?

I've got 12 26w in a 2.5X1.5 space. Put as many and as high a wattage as you can get in there and still regulate the heat IMO.
