Has anyone ever used a circle type fluro around a small plant to get complete 360 degree side coverage with light?

I have been wondering about that too, they look and seem like a good idea. And if you could get them with decent wattages, as well as the right color spectrum I don't see why it wouldn't work well. Who knows, maybe we will see some good responses.

-Damn. I was on the Home Depot website today looking at different CFL's and i thought the same thing...

So, do you have any experience or knowledge to share on the subject? They seem like a good idea assuming you can get them in decent wattages, and spectrum. Covers a nice area ya know.

I think a fixture design might really be the most difficult aspect of this since it's unheard of.

I had one for a few days, but it was to loud, I'd hear it when I went to bed to I took it out. Mine was a 30W I think, I don't think it would have done much.

Any more opinions appreciated.

Well yh the light is good for growing but the watts dont go as high like 58w i think but there they will be ok
