how long until you can smoke the bud with cfls

i was just wondering how long from seed to harvest using cfl's. i know it varies upon nutes and all that other stuff but just on average how long does it take? thanks

Depends on medium (aero is fastest, soil is slowest), veg time, & strain. Anywhere from 2 months to 6 months.

if things are done right and you flower early, its possible to have your plant cut in 80 days. and still get a fair yield. if you wanna try it id reccomend Buds For Less, its a great book done by one of RIU admins. it takes your straight through the grow. in the book he cut at 69 and nets 3oz of a single magno plant. i got the book late and im following it as close as i can with my grow. im about 6 weeks in and flowerin 12 days today. shes looking good. i dunno if ill get 3 oz's since im just using some high end bagseed but we will see.

I did 8 weeks of veg and 10 weeks of flower. I guess thats more like 4 months. Didnt do my math right.

I topped em twice and ended up with a 2ft plant with about 20 colas (grow tips), using about 250w of flouros.

No strainout there is going to be 'actually' ready in 4 weeks of flowering. Even using the most powerful lights. Do you use a microsope to check out the trichs?

Anyway this is what mine looked like at 5 weeks. Then 11 weeks (3 week into flower)

Now it's been almost 15 weeks (8 weeks in to flower) and the buds are fat but not a single trich is cloudy. Not even close to done. I'd give it another 3 weeks (this will make it 11 weeks flowering when I plan to harvest). I dont have pics of it in this stage but will some time this week

I'm not trying to argue or anything but could you point me to a 4 week flowering strain? I'd like to grow that
