Ya Know, I keep hearing about how tinfoil is not good but are you SURE it will make hotspots with CFLs.

POSITIVE!!!!!!! NEVER use tin foil to line your walls. I have seen personally what tin foil and cfl's do to a plant. The light was not even touching the plant..about 3-4" away, and there were lines in the shape of the cfl on some of the leaves...looked like someone had touched the leaves with the side of the bulb.

Well allrightythen! Please pardon my skepticism. You have made a believer out of me, if you've seen this personally.
Also I'd like to take this opportunity to say that when people put a blatant lie as their signature (which you do not homegrownboy, and ty for that) it does nothing for their credibility. I dont care what the circumstances are. Legal, illegal blah blah...As far as I'm concerned there's not a damn thing wrong with what we all are doing, except for the lying about it. Put that in your pipe an smoke it! lmfao

It wasn't on my grow i witnessed the burning, i'm not that....silly.

Ok the foil is down but, I can't paint the closet, and mylar is not an option. How a bout a regular mirror, I've got a few big ones? How about one of those car shades, the fold out silver ones? I dont give up easy...lol

Car shade...or if you have a few $$ run to a camping store and get the emergency blankets...there cheap and fairly large once undone. Another thing you could do is go buy the shinny holographic wrapping paper...it's made of mylar and i hear it works well, make sure to get the silver wraping paper. And then when you walk into your room you might see an array of colours...lol.

Wow. Cool. I've got some of those blankets. I would have thought they would be the same as foil, but I'm all over it.
There seems to be a race going on. Which is growing faster- the plants, or my knowledge of them. Both are cruising! Yee haw!!
