Thanks guys. I've got 25 cfls (all 2700k) and 10 40W tubes(mostly cool). Most of the CFL's are 24W but there are a few 42 watters as well.
I've been giving them hydrogen peroxide(20ml)with molasses (1 tblsp), alternating with shultz bloom booster 10/54/10(1/4 strength) and apple cidar vinegar (3 drops). There are in 1 gallon pots and dry out pretty fast. I have to water them every 3 days.
The 1st plant to show sex (7), also started to yellow 1st. The 2nd plants to show sex (9 &10) started to yellow this week. #3 showed last and is still all green. Because of this I am assuming that the yellowing I'm seeing is part of the plants normal cycle. The buds are all still growing

Damn you still got those things in 1 gallon pots. My growth slllooooowwwwed way down after I had roots growing out the bottom of the pot. After I transplanted, my buds really took off. But the strange thing is that I transplanted and exactly 1 week after I had more roots growing out the bottom of the pot. Whas up with that.? I mean this thing is in a 14" pot (5 gallon) I can't have to transplant againg? But plants look good bro!!!! Late

I know lol , my pots are small but they are doing the job! I had bigger pots to transplant them into but the timing was just never right. Newbie thing lol
I'm over half way through flowering so I think I'm just going to ride it out from here though. I've seen bigger plants in smaller pots then mine. I was like WOW, but ok then mine should be ok too.
I got a chance to examine the root systems on my 2 males and my more recently deceased hermies. They were all in good shape not even close to being rootbound. So that went into the decision to leave 'em in thier pots.
Next time....I'm going right from peat pots to big buckets. I plan to have a few less plants, and I wanna LST them.

Dude this is sick!! i was just wondering as i stayed up all night reading your thread; how much has your electric bill increased? I am starting a similar set-up and wondered if the LARGE amount of CFL's were still fairly cheap to run. I wouldnt need nearly that much but was wondering if you had a general idea.. but the Bitches look Beautiful!! Very Nice work, have you read Buds for Less, i believe thats the title its beeen a long day so im not sure but its a good CFL book and i beilve it was writtin by Garden Knowm.. anyways BEAUTIFUL JOB!

Thank you Blazin. I'm not exactly sure of the effect on my electric bill. I havn't lived here for very long so i cant compare to last years bill. But its not a ridiculous amount. About a dollar a day. Its hard to say. When the lights were on for 18+ hrs I had less lights than I do now that they are only on for 12 hrs.
And no, I did not read THE book yet. But I would like to eventually. I do owe most of my success (knock on wood) to this site.

I haven't smoked any herbs that I myself have grown. So....That makes me a newb and I know that. Therefore, I dont like to post to much advise on other peoples threads. But some things just seem so obvious.
I keep seeing the same thing. People are growing plants in soil (like MG) that already has nutes in it. Then they are adding more nutes to the water when the plants are still very small. Then the plants start looking sick and they ask why. Then they seem to think that the problem is some sort of nutrient deficiency.
Too may people are just overdoing it I think! Its a weed lol. You shouldn't have to do a damn thing to grow it really. But to grow nice buds obviously you can step in and help the plant out
But I saw that as soon as I got started so I have gone real ez on the nutes never more than 1/2 strength every other water. I'm just letting 'em grow. I gave 'em a lot of one thing though....LIGHTS!!! lol
So here's my 2 cents....
Give 'em MORE light, and LESS of everything else!
But I'm just a newb...

Over 6 weeks flowering already!
They have all begun to yellow and drop leaves. All still making buds and pushing out new hairs. They havn't gotten any taller for a while now. I think that they have maxed out in their small pots. But they are still filling in nicely. Won't be long now.
#7 (the one with the big main cola) Is almost there 2 more weeks tops I think, so I'm not giving it any more nutes. The others aren't far behind.
They all shared 2 gallons of water with molasses (2tbls), got a trim, and posed for pictures this morning.

#9 (who sits in the doorway) has some seeds on it!!! I am assuming it was from when I burst a pollen sack on that damn hermie before I took it out behind the woodshed Well, at least I think they are seeds. They're only on two of the lower branches, and not even on the main buds, just further down the branch on the smaller buds. I'm thinking about choppen 'em off so the plant won't waste energy developing those seeds. Good idea???? anyone???
I dont want to grow more of that strain (too tall & small buds on it) so I dont need the seeds.

About a week and half ago I cut the smallest bottom branch off of #7 It had a nice little nugget on it. Smoked it with the Mrs yesterday morning. It was very nice!! Tasted nice and we didn't even finish it off!! I should have got a pic of the bud but....It's definately some good chit man

looking great man, i am impressed at the size of your plants. cfls can be a great way to go if you know what your doing, and you clearly seem to. my buds are a few weeks behind yours, but i cant wait for them to catch up. i just added a few more cfls to bring my wattage up to around 480 for 1 plant!
