well all the pollen sacks that I have been plucking off have been immature. but I missed one that was hiddin and must have matured cuz dust came out of it. The dust fell down onto the plant itself. I'm hoping that most of the pollen got stuck to the plant it came from (it was a very sticky budding area of the plant) but I suppose some COULD have gotten into the air and ...well idk, only time will tell.....

I just started fgrowing in a 2.5 x 2.5 x 3.5 grow box and i wanted to use cfl's but i only intend on veging the plant unil it's 16". i have 3 computer fans hooked up (1inlet. 1 outlet. 1 inside the box) i have 3 3buld fixtures and 3 single bulb fixtures would i beable to complete a good harvest from 2 plants useing only the fixtures i have (with cool/warm cfl's)

My best answer is....Barely. 2 plants will fill that box right up pretty quickly. 3 3 buld fixtures + 3 single bulbs? Is that 12 bulbs total? 12 bulbs is ok for 2 plants, but 12 bulbs in that box will require more ventalation than the comp fans will provide IMO. I dont know how big those fans are and idk the wattage of your bulbs. Also depends on the strain you are growing- are they going to be tall or short and bushy? Knowing that would sure help you out.

Day 65 Day 26 of flower

The recent passing of #1 (damn hermie, I'm gonna smoke its ass) has called for a total redo of the lighting setup in the closet. 7 & 9 were on the left side of the closet by themselves and 1,3,4,6,and 10 were on the right. Now, the final 6 are all back where they started on the right side. The tall ones- 7,9,& 10 on the right. The short ones- 3,4,& 6 on the left. The tubes are just side lighting now and there are 25 CFL's dispersed nicely.
I think the plants are really going to like it. The lights on TOP of the short plants are lighting up the sides of the tall ones. Good coverage, good proximity...roughly 850 watts. I know that sounds like a lot, but for 6 plants its about 140 watts per plant. And hell yeah it would get REAL hot in there if I didnt keep 3 fans goin, and the a/c on when it gets over 85.
