i did have 490w but i cut down cuz i made a new box and it works sweet.

thanks for all help random jesus you really add a whole lot to the conversation. im glad i was asking everyones opinions on cfls and not something dumb about which cfl is better. i mean come on anyone that knows anything knows cfls are shit....i hope im not laying the sarcasm on too think... why you in the cfl forum ? just to a be a prick with nothing better to do ---- go suck your hps off you fag

its not all about how many lumens or watts u have either - placing 1 125w over a plant isn't going to get any light onto the lower buds. Each bud site effectively needs its own light when using CFLs.

so basically, you're better off having more individual lights and placing them all around the plant otherwise you'll end up with a fat bud on top and SFA down below.
