Currently have 2 seedlings about a day old. I have 2 32 watt cfls, 2 40 watt cfls, and 1 45 watt cfls. All are about 3-4 innches from the plants because my last try with cfls I had them to close as seedling and they got to hot and died. I plan on adding some more cfls in the next 2 or 3 weeks, but as of now is that sufficient light for vegging.

Im currently using 8, 6500k 23w or equal to 100w each cfls on 2 plants right now and they are happy. The lights are about 2 inches from the tops.

My setup is 6 from the top and the other 2 are in the center mid height. to be sure to get all the leafs.

5 30 watts i broke 1 . i have 3 on the top and one on each side. i topped the plant and bent and tied down the branches so it grew around the bulbs for maximum use
