The 85w are the best lite for the wats used.

Im using
2 24watt daylight
1 29watt warm
2 13watt daylight

my 2 plants are 32 days old, now it seems im starting to develop little reddish purple lines in my leaf stems, by the very top of the plants...any clue??

very cool. Im not sure what that means but I would assume that it is your plants way of saying its happy you added more light. Let us know id you notice it getting more bushy with the added lights. It should start to grow faster and more dense foliage.

I forget if ou said or not but are you adding any nutes?

Also could you post a pic of the purple veins? Im super interested in seeing them

just started nutes, some stuff from lowes not the best, but its something like 18-6-7, try to get some pics on here tomm.

4-5 would have been plenty
but you've kinda gone from one extreme to another
i reccomend on your next grow keep it constantly on 4-5 CFL's
btw its a nice plant just very slow.

sorry i just wanted to add:

put the light closer, they look like they reaching in certain directions...
CFL's hafto be 3 inches away...
if your not using and fertilizers put a bid of organic fertilizer in with the water.
make an aluminiumfoil square wall around you plant.. like a few inches wider than your pot, so the lumens wasted get reflected back onto your plant.

do that for 2-3 weeks and the plant will be nice and helathy ready for budding.

NEVER USE ALLUMINUM FOIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! White paint or mylar...foil could burn your plants. 3" is a good distance but if you can get closer...i get mine 1.5" away, but i also have a fan blowing on the lights to keep them cool. Using CFL's you want about 5 per plant...and try to have them in a pyamid shape to the plants so the sides get plenty of light as well...i went with 7 cfl's for my 1 plant and was quite amazed with the results.

Yes Never Ever use aluminum foil. Your better off using white paper. Wow man you used 7 lights. I had 8 lights 2 inchs away from my 2 plants. but while I was at work well long story short I have one now But if nirvana would get off there ass then I would have some fem seeds sprouting grrrrr.

I now have 5 on my one plant in a pyramid shape like the last guy said. With the 5 24w 6500k cfls my little girl is super happy. not reaching and growing nice and bushy.
I will switch out 3 of the 6500k lights for 2400k and adding one or two more.
A word to the wise. I bought a lot of cfl bulbs on ebay. I got 24 bulbs total for $45 after shipping. 12 6500k and 12 2400k. Not a bad deal if you ran the numbers against home depot.

Oh yeah and your girl looks very happy. Good work man.
