my grow room is at 85 fahrenheit and 40% humidity is this too hot for my plants as the leafs are starting to go dry and crisp its at the stage now where i am plucking a few of a week

any help would be most appreciated

how close are your lights?
how old are the plants?
what leaves are going bad?
what type of lights?
85 should be ok for temp.

my light is 3-4'' away from the top of my plant
its a 150 watt daylight cfl
the leaves that go dry and crispy are the bigger or biggest ones
at the bottom and at the top of the plant ?

cfl's are kinda warm i have mine 6-12" away. try moving an inch or two away. I have 1-85w and 2-46w. they were burnig leave at 5" as the plants get older they seem to take the cfl heat better

Well 85 Is Good Humidity Could Go Up More To About 60 But What Stage R They In Veg But R They Seedlings Clones Or How Many Weeks Into Veg Are They

Cfls Can Be Closer Cuz Thier Not As Hot As Hids

3-4" is right for the CFL.

the plant is in veg about 3 weeks old i might keep the light at 5'' what do you think ?

cfl's are cooler then hid. i was burning leaf's with them at that age. the higher watt cfl's give off a bit to much heat for the youngsters. try 5" and if you can vent the light you'll be ok where you are. just my thoughts. I went therw this about a month ago.
