I wanted 2 know if soft white CFL's R actually warm white bulbs, cause I went 2 Home Depot & all I could find was daylight, soft white, natural white CFL bulbs, with watts ranging from 13w./ 23w./ 26w./ 40w./ 42w./ 50w. and they all say soft white on the package, none saying warm white on the package, could someone show me a pic of the package or the bulbs that r warm white which is used 4 flowering which I hear alot on this site, cause I have 5 soft white CFL's 4-42w. which suppose 2B eqiuvalent 2 a 150w.incadensent bulb & I just purchased 1-40w. soft white from Lowes, which suppose 2B eqiuvalent 2 a 200w. incadensent bulb. I veg last yr. with the 4-42w. CFL & the plants were big & beautiful, never got 2 flower, cause when my sister discovered my set-up, she panicked & had 2 close shop. the plants when using CFL's 4 the 1st 1 1/2 mos. were abt 8 in. tall, then I put them under my 400w. MH system, which when my sis discovered the plants were 24 in. tall & I had 9 plants at that height & a bunch of up & coming 4 a total of about 30 plants, which I posted on my pic gallery.

At Home Depot the ones for lowering are the white and green package...What you pay for at HD($7 for 2 100watt equiv) you could go to walmart and get the great value 4 pack for about the same price. Color temp is on the back, and they are the same amount of lumens and Kelvin temp.

At home depot If you look in the outdoor lighting section were they keep there security lights they have 60,80,100w CFL's and ther are not the equivelent ones either. i bought 2 100w for i think it was around 35$ they kick ass compared to equivilent ones.

I found the 100w flourex that takes the mogul base. I may go to the depot and grab a few. I can't seem to find the ogul base that thya ned though. I hate taking trips to the hydro store, even though i know they have them.If anyone knows if you can get them at the depot let me know please.

wait so your trying to find mogul based light bulb if so im not sure if they carry mogul based. I found my bublbs in the outdoor lighting section by the hose's and they were e17 base i think.i would still check though.

Hey T0k3s So U Say They Have 60,80 and 100w cfls At Home Depot What Is The Average Lumen Amount For Those Cfls? And Do They Come In Both Blue Spec And Red Spec? Because Im Bout To Start Lookin Into CFL Growing But I Was Thinkin About Gettin Sum 150w Envirolites Full Spec But You Can Only Get Them Off The Internet For Like 70 Bucks Each Plus S&H fee But Seein As U Said I Can Go To A Local Store And Get Some Cfls Almost As Equilvelent As The Lights I Was Gonna Get For Half The Price Cant Beat It. So Where Do I Look For These At In Home Depot And What Kind Of Package Would Dey Be In Also?

IN the outdoor lighting section they carry security lights in the form of CFL...The fixture and bulb are like 44$ then you just have to wire it up with a cord.The bulbs don't fit into a normal socket they only fit the security lights..but they come in 60 80 or 100w.They also carry hps dusk to dawn lights that can be converted into a grow light also and i think those are 70w and 150w...They are not much more then the CFLs lights.If your not good with electrical stuff you can buy lights here for cheap..and hps will beat a CFL and put about the same in heat but as long as you have ventilation of some sort your ok.
