im goin to flower them in the next week or so, only problem is on the 18th of this month i am going away on a business trip for 2 weeks but the gf will be droppin by every 4-5 days to water/change height of lights and kill the males if they show

hopefully she'l manage

i know its not the best times to leave the plants, especially in 1st 2weeks of flowering but theres nothing i can do, i hope they will be ok

Oh dear, I would not like to be in you situation. I went to my mothers for Christmas once for 4 days, came back to find my plants pressed up against the lights burnt like toast. Hope your gf remembers to pop round.

you may want to consider leaving them on veg until you get back from the trip, the plants are going to stretch like mad during the start of flowering and it might be harder for your girlfriend (who may or may not have knowledge on the subject) to handle it.

well the plan was to leave the lights about a foot over the plants, i know its not optimal but it will leave plants room to grow without burning.

thanks guys, well i have 6 main plants over just 250watts blue spectrum enviro and my plants are doing ridiculously well!

i have gaven them no nutes so far as im using biobizz all mix soil which has 5% nutes in it.

there growing like an inch a day easy.

im gonna be swapping in the next few days to a 250w red spectrum and change lights to 12/12, then after 2-3 weeks of that im gonna add the blue spectrum 250w and another red spectrum 125w

so total for the last 4-6 weeks of flowering il have 625watts of cfl lighting on no more 6 plants (thats if they all turn female - so more likely just 3 plants)

hopefully that will produce sum bud never seen before by cfl's

so far iv been very happy with my envirolights.

me 2 man there smellin pretty skunky even though there still in veg

the roots are showing out the bottoms of all the pots so i think that means they have settled in their new pots and its time to flower next few days.

i think there a fairly good size now to put into flower, what do you think?

dunno man. if you got enough height, why not veg them a few more weeks.if you don't - then go ahead.good luck. Peace!!! Cheetah
