this is my first grow and i dont want to spend a ton of money so im gonna use some cfl's. i want to plant 10 plants in an indoor growbox and after 3 or 4 weeks ill move them outside to their permanent home, so they will not be big at all while theyre under the cfls. right now i have 4 26w cfls putting out about 1750 lumens each... how many more do i need? also, ive heard tons of different opinions about how close to the plants they should be... any suggestions on this? thanks!

Plants should be at least 2 inches away from the light. I would sugest low- stress training for your setup now, but i will be pointless if your just going to plant them outside. Why not just ekep them indoor??

i live with my parents so i cant grow them here... my friend said he will let me start them at his house but doesnt want me to do the whole grow there. ive heard its better to start them inside and then put them outside. i would love to grow indoors but gotta wait till i move out i dont want to get caught by my parents or worse...

so where are you going to put them outside?

it really depends on how big your gonna let your plant grow. two 26watt cfl's worked awsome for my plant but i only let it get 12inch's. and make shore your lights are on there sides the plant will get more light that way. good luck
