I am about a month into my second grow. Before my plant was just under a couple 42 watters with only reflectors on them. TOday i just finished building my grow box to maximize the amount of light getting to the plant. I was wondering if it was safe to switch the plants light cycle from 24/0 to 18/6 for a couple weeks before i go into flowering??

if youre already a month into your grow shouldn't you be switching to flowering right about now? i switched mine after vegging for about 3.5 weeks

well i do not plan on flowering for another month( the strain we have likes to be vegged for a long time... by we i mean my friend has another grow under MH and HPS her vegged for a month and a half 18/6 and has some monsters) and running 24/0 inside my box is causing the temps to get pretty high... i was thinking 18/6 would be less stressful on the plant as i get closer to flowering... how do u guys feel about this?

I think the plants would appreciate it. Trust me they think like a plant treat it like one with respect built with nutrients. Good luck and have fun
