My CFL's always seem to start breaking at about a month. How many hours or days do you guys go before replacing bulbs?

i hope after 10'000 hours... just like promised from the manufactur ^^

pshhhh. screw that!!! never!!. no i will never get 1000 hours out of a cfl at 24 hours a day. let alone 10000. They seem to break after one month...i

get better bulbs.
they should say how long thay last on the packet/box they came in.
somthing like 2000 hours or somthing.
or just google the type of bulbs, you are using.
and find out where they sell them"your type of bulb/light"and see how long they should last.
144 hours in a week i think.
so if you have on the light for 4 weeks on 24/0. or 8 weeks of 12/12.

are you in vegg or 12/12?.
but my flos last longer than a month.
ive had mine on for 6 months solid, 24/7 all day and night, i never turn my flos off.
im always starting new plants, and flos are great for 1st 4 to 10.
10 weeks if im multi topping.
if you have enuf of them "flo's that is" to vegg for 10 week.
i think 1 plant needs an extra flo every 2 to 3 weeks of its life, to get any bud worth talking about.
just keep using your flo's for vegg, and get a proper light, if you dont already have one, hps for better bigger buds, flos are good for growing plants but shit for 12/12. unless you have the proper ones, and they end up more money than a proper light.
get 250/400 hps $100 to $150. or £50 to £80. its worth every penny.
dont know how much you spend on weed, but i spend the price of 2 light every week. £100 to £200 if i have to buy it, and thats bad.
then after 4 to 10 weeks. of flos/vegg.
then save up in that time, and buy a hps.

when i goto buy new bulbs, just take the old bulb to the store with you , and yes you know
swap it, or just tell the store that it dont work, and they will just switch it for free.
just an idea if you ever need a free bulb.
just a shame wall mart dont sell hps.

Mine say they last 7 years...so yeh lol

well 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week,4 weeks in a month (give or take), 12 months in a yera, they should last 14 months having them on 24 hours a day.

yea man i just bought like a 3 pack of cfls , the big 27w ithink, and i was useing them and i was checkin in my closet one day and one of them burned out after like a week so i was like wtf, it shouldnt burn out that fast, maybe a bad bulb?
