NEW 326w CFL GROW

Check out my grow all babies r 8 dayz old, 4 54w high out put t5 strip lights 5,000 lumens 1 110w ballist 10,000 lumens = 30,000 lumens... ok 4 3 plants right? i have bloom bulbs 4 flowering also....feedback plz!!!!!!!!!

Hey jo, your light setups gona get comments like... those t5's need to be diffrent..

I think they are ok there.. if u take them around it wont let the other cfl's shine on it..

Lets your plant grow and have them on the side of the plants like you have

I think thats the best way to grow with them...

I concur, the way you have the t5 bulbs standing up seem as though they'll provide excellent and even side lighting for foliage that normally wouldn't be penetrated by the overhead lamps.

Thanks fellas... the way i have them suspended in the closet allows me to move them around in different configs in the closet. I went with the 4ft t5's for that reason.. so that i could place em vertically and get the max amount of light to the sides of my babies. I only turned on the strip lights 4 the pic, i dont think i need em on now cuz they are nice and toasty under my ballist, but when they get taller i think those t5 strips will get could light coverage. I have 3 babies now lookin good

as i said b4 i bought 3000k bloom bulbs 4 all of them 4 flower.. i shouldn,t have a problem flowering with these lights? and geeting a decent yeild (if ne r females!) with my light set up will i? the more feedback the better since this is my first grow

Also DWR i have looked in on your grow journal from time to time and noticed u have 3 of the big CFL's r those 150w each (nice lights) i almost went that route ended up buying the ballist instead... i noticed that u use different color spectrums @ the same time.... should i chang out a couple of the strip lights to 3000k during veg or just stay with all 6500k for veg?

Should have just bought a HPS / MH interchangeable it probably almost would have been the same price!

like your setup,very nice! but at the moment the t5`s around the side ain`t having much of a impact till your plants get bigger, due to the hood you have being so low, as it has to be.
your wasting alot of light! try a couple of smaller cfls around the sides till the your plants grow abit more, then you would be able to use the vertical t5`s more effectively!

ze, i dont have those strip lights on yet.... just the ballist, strip lights will come on when they gain sone hieght.. I almost bought a hps, but for some reason i wanted to use cfl's.. i like em. im going to run a all cfl setup for veg and flower. if i dont like the results in flower ill keep the cfl's for veg and get an hps for flower.. I bought premium cfl's lets wait and c wat my results r before we make fun of cfl's, i bet my budz will be thick fellas
