So finally been able to get my second grow room set up. This time in a PC Case. I have used computer fans for intake and outtake, mylar inside the whole case and a red spectrum 250w envirolite for my lumens.

They say that the produce 12,000 lumens so I would have thought this should produce some pretty nice buds.

With only 8" of grow space it looks like this plant is going to have to be majorly lstd.

Would anyone recommend a ScrOG or SOG in this type of grow?

Anyone had experience with a 250watt Envirolite in such small conditions. I think i may get some heat problems thats all.

I'm only going to be growing one feminised seed. probably blueberry on 12/12 so trying to give it the best chance of keeping short.

I WANT SOME BIG BUDS THOUGH!! Any advice?

Growing medium is soil and perlite.

Sounds fun but I doubt you will get very much. That would be a sweet setup for seedlings, clones, or a hobby. Keep us updated though and good luck!

Why on earth did u get the red enviro for the whole growth! You would of been far better of with the blue, and used that for flowering aswell, although that would also be shit. But the red is useless for veg and gives out a fair bit of heat meaning u won't be able to put them more than 4 inches from them meaning even less room. Dear oh dear, you need to have a major re-think don't waste your time with that setup

I appreciate your comments Titania but I should be able to get the plants much closer than four inches. The envirolite doesn't create too much heat and the intake fan is blowing just below it which will be my top buds.

How come you would recommend blue? Won't this just prolong the veg stage I want to get into flowering as fast as possible probably with some LST or ScrOG.

This grow is purely to gain more experience, improve my techniques and grab a small bit of personal too.

It's so much too much wattage for the-(too small) space-maybe cfl's, I think it's not enough room personally.

Blue won't necesarely prolong veg state as long as you put them on 12/12. It's not ideal, your yeild will be small, but if you had to pick 1 blue or red it's blue hands down for me, ask most ppl red enviro's are pretty shit for flowering let alone veg!

put a fan there sinks down to 22 room temps ! And the Red ones u can use for veg, just the late veg.

Good input, I used a 125 watt envirolite for my first grow. Blue for veg and then switched to Red for flower. Did 8 weeks veg then 8 weeks flower and I came out with 2 ounces off one plant.
I would be happy with the same result in this grow. But since I'm doubling the lumens I would hope to progress further.
CFL's aren't useless..but envirolites were never made to make big bushes right? Sometimes you got to look at what somebody else might want to achieve from their grow. It might not be your target yield but for others it is sufficient.

Actualy DWR I do have one and grown 3 times with it. I don't think cfl are useless I think there great, (not so much for flowering though) . What I was saying is a red enviro for the whole growth is a mistake, 1: It's a PC grow so he has limited space, and the red light will make them strecth like fuck! Especially if he uses them from seed. 2: Blue will keep them compact and short ideal for a Pc grow. If you have the money Stealthhawk get a 125 blue and veg with that then switch to red. I hate to piss on your fire, I just don't want you to waste your time. Good luck anyhows.
